We are sad to announce that, on February 17, 2026, at the age of 81, Charlene Edwin Sandifer of Fisher, Louisiana, born in Many, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Halloway Brooks and Lula Brooks (Lewing); and her siblings, Louise Cooper, Ann Randolph and James Brooks.
She is survived by: her husband Doyle Sandifer of Fisher, LA; her sons, Charles Everett Byles (Diane Marie) of Flora, IL and William Bruce Byles (Cherl Kay) of Aledo, TX; her brother George Brooks (Gail) of Keller, TX; and her grandchildren, Travis Byles (Ashley) of Kenosha, WI, Beth Byles (Alex Kokonis) of Tacoma, WA, Brandon Byles of Weatherford, TX and Brooke Byles Spidel (Kurtis) of Amarillo, TX. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
