It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James J. Bolton of Flatwoods, Louisiana, who passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Edith Bolton; his daughter Jennifer Bolton Martin; his parents, Versie Lee and Tishie Bolton; his siblings, Leo Bolton, Ronnie Bolton, Roy Bolton and Joy Allman; and his great grandchild Lil'Allen.
He is survived by: his daughter Laura Bolton Bass (Harlis) of Boyce; his siblings, Francis Bolton of Mora, C. D. Bolton of Baytown, Texas, Debbie White (Rupert) of Leesville and Evelyn Dauzart of Leesville; and his grandchildren, Laurie Mullins, Eric Troquille and Allen Bennett (Tamara).
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Pine Grove Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
