We announce the death of Ronald George of Flatwoods, Louisiana, who passed away on September 17, 2026, at the age of 80. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo George and Birttie George; and his siblings, Edward, Clifford, Carl Lee, Roger, Donald George, Elda Dunnam, Myrtis Mayeaux, Lillie Moore, Gearld Setliff, Betty Setliff and Marie Troquille.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald George, Jr. (Samantha) and Ronda George; and his nephew Jimmy Troquille. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Pine Coupee Pentecostal Church (299 Pine Coupee Rd, Flatwoods, LA 71427).
