Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Burton Dewey Weaver Jr. of Flora, Louisiana, who passed away at the age of 90, on May 18, 2025. He was predeceased by: his former wife Jerri Roberts; and his parents, Burton Weaver and Lois Weaver. He is survived by: his wife Sue Weaver; his children, Lois Patterson (James), Laurel Jones (Tom), Burton Weaver, III and Boone Weaver; and his stepchildren, Susannah Craig (Stewart), Margaret Milam (Jason) and Marston Fowler (Jennifer). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Weaver United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Burton's memory to Weaver United Methodist Church in Flora, Louisiana, or The Hospice of Baton Rouge.
