He was predeceased by: his father Robert James Bennett; his brother Gordy Bennett; and his brother-in-law Lee Phillips. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Ann Bennett of Shreveport, Louisiana; his daughter Ashlee Houston (Brandon) of Springdale, Arkansas; and his siblings, Lisa Bennett (Anthony Cain) of Alexandria, Mona Westbrook (Bubba) of Florien, Carla Parker (Tony) of Florien, Collette Phillips of Zwolle, Sue McCollough (Keven) of Buna, Texas, Robert Bennett, Jr. (Diana) of Many and Dan Bennett of Florien, Louisiana. He is also survived by 2 grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
