She was predeceased by: her parents, Lansford Cleveland Chance and Clarice Chance (Lee); and her husband Ellis Quinton "Peanut" Carroll. She is survived by: her children, Emma Jean Hollis (Edward), Darwin Carroll (Tammy), Clara Ruth Keim (Buddy) and Ellen VanderBerg (Bob); her siblings, David Chance (Felice), Wayne Chance (LaVerne), Carl Chance (Edris), Ann Johnson (Dexter) and Dan Chance (Julia); and her grandsons, Philip Lewis, Brian Hollis, Brandon Hollis, Joshua Carroll, Marc Paz and Jason Relf. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews.
