He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar A. Walker, Sr. and Lou Moreau Walker; and his in-laws, Clarence "Fit" Melancon and Bonnie H. Melancon. He is survived by: his spouse Bambi M. Walker; his son Alex A. Walker; his sisters, Wanda Fontenot (James), Neva Snow (Kirk) and Lisa Smith (Jay); and his sister-in-law Sue Cornwell (late Giles). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the E. J. Fielding Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the E. J. Fielding Funeral Home (2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433). A burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Pinecrest Memorial Gardens (2280 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433).
