It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leatte McLain Sharp of Folsom, Louisiana, born in Covington, Louisiana, who passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Victor Sharp; her parents, James A. McLain and Myrtis Loyd McLain; her siblings, Ray McLain and Rosalie McLain Dickerson; and her son-in-law Rick Pearson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Tosso (Bob), Karen Pearson and Kathy Galloway (Ronnie); her grandchildren, Paul Tosso (Katie), Annie Wilson (Matthew), Jamie Tosso, Ryne Pearson (Erin), Kirby Pearson (Jennifer), Jessica Galloway and Rebecca Crumpler (Colton); her great grandchildren, Sam, Sadie, Sawyer Tosso, Gaines, Jack, Reid Wilson, Blaine, Hattie Pearson, Rylan, Isaac, Noemi Pearson and Carter Crumpler; and her sister Midge McLain Magee. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mrs. Sharp may be made to the New Zion Baptist Church Building Fund or to St. Tammany Hospice.
