He is survived by: his wife Billie Jo Peters (McBride); his children, Mike "Pete" Peters (Carla) and Kathy Price (Pat); his stepchildren, Michael Kramer (Lynn), Bruce Kramer and Holly Kramer; and his brother Delwin Peters (Edna). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Southern-Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel (228 Allen Ave, Jonesboro, LA 71251). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 3:15 PM to 3:30 PM at the Ebenezer Cemetery.
