He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Williams and Nellie Boykin Williams; and his sister Hedie Williams Eaves (Lucy Ann Foley). He is survived by: his son John Dean Williams of Fort Polk, LA; his grandchildren, Amber Williams, John Williams and Isabella Williams; and his brother Johnny Williams (Carol) of Conehatta, MS. He is also survived by his family and many dear friends.
