He is survived by: his father Henry Mitchell Sr.; his siblings, Virginia Delasbour of Broussard, Louisiana, Mary Clavelle of Franklin, Louisiana, Anna Lancelin of New Orleans, Louisiana, Ann Fusilier of New Iberia, Louisiana, Chenet Mitchell of Verdunville, Louisiana, Larry Mitchell of New Orleans, Louisiana, Henry Mitchell Jr. of Columbia and Esau Mitchell of Franklin, Louisiana.; his goddaughter Susie Mitchell; and his friend Lilac Todd. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended relatives, friends.
