The family announces the passing of Aline Bodin (Franklin, Louisiana) on August 29, 2026. Aline, born on April 17, 1933, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Denis Bodin, Jr.; her parents, Eustis Bodin and Jessie Hebert Bodin; her sisters, June Bodin Robicheaux and Janice Bodin Andrus; and her great grandchild Kannon Gaudet.
She is survived by: her children, Denise B. Gaudet (Milton Jr.), David Bodin, Bryan Bodin (Madeleine), James Bodin (Andre), Mark Bodin (Russ) and Janine B. Boudreaux (John); her siblings, Glen Bodin (Peggy) and Nancy Bodin Shinn; and her caregivers, Josie, Flo, Constance, Jadda, Marcie and Skylar. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church (1325 Big 4 Corners Rd, Franklin, LA 70538). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (414 Martin Luther King Jr St, Baldwin, LA 70514).
