He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Joseph Mayea and Joyce Hebert Mayea; his sisters, Rhoda M. Boudreaux, Shelly Rose Mayea and Melissa M. LeBlanc; his in-laws, Roland "LuLu" Louviere and Betty Boutte Louviere; his brothers-in-law, Tommy Savoie and Joey Belton; and his nephews, Clyde J. LeBlanc Jr. and Scott Louviere.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia "Cindy" Louviere Mayea; his sons, Nicholas "Nick" Mayea (Taryn) and Derek Mayea; his grandchildren, Damian Mayea, Sterlyn Mayea and Grayson Mayea; his great grandchildren, Laityn Mayea and Ari'ella Mayea; his siblings, Nora M. Jones (Herman), Elaine M. Savoie and Chad Mayea (Andrea); and his siblings-in-law, Richard Boudreaux, Clyde J. LeBlanc, Sr., Mark Louviere (Donna), Christine L. Shauberger (Michael), Cathleen L. Quereau (Henri) and Claire L. Belton. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
