He was predeceased by: his parents, Abel Guidry and Ozelia Lormand Guidry; his wife Olga; his former wife Verdie Lantier Guidry; and his siblings, Lorena Peltier, Mildred Blanchard, Rena Broussard, Joseph Guidry Sr., Bernice Comeaux, Dudley Guidry, Hazel Breaux, Elby Guidry and Ruth Guidry.
He is survived by: his children, Rickey Guidry (Myra), Darlene Guidry Perkins and Randy Guidry; his stepchildren, John Gauthier (Dianna), Sidney J. Gauthier III (Jeanie), Sally Peltier (Roy Jr.), Gwen Saucier (Keith), Mary Melancon and Rhonda Battaglio (Barry); his grandson Karl Perkins (Kelley); his great grandchildren, Claire, Ella and Calvin Perkins; and his siblings, Roy Guidry (Sherry), Dorothy Guidry and Betty Guidry Lofgen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
