He is survived by: his wife Renelle Robicheaux Dressel; his children, David Dressel (Emily) of Youngsville, LA and Gina Dressel Banks (Judson Banks) of Baton Rouge; his stepson Dirk Doucet (Fonda) of Franklin, LA; his grandchildren, Allison Dressel, David Dressel, Jr., Campbell Banks, Reid Banks, Garrett Banks, Carson Doucet, Peyton Doucet and Ambree Doucet; his brother Lloyd Dressel (Sandy); and his parents-in-law, Ray Robicheaux, Dianne P. Robicheaux and Mary Ann Lightfoot.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Church of the Assumption (915 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Perpetual Park Cemetery (1450 Sterling Rd, Franklin, LA 70538).
