It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Haynes Jr. of Franklin, Louisiana, who passed away on June 15, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Jean Hall Haynes; his parents, Lydia Haynes, and David Haynes, Sr.; his son Jeremy Haynes; and his grandson Garieon Haynes.
He is survived by: his children, Gary S. Haynes (Shaina) of Atlanta, Kevin Haynes (Monica) of San Antonio, James Wells (Lekia) of Abbeville, Ernel Reed of Franklin, Shawn Johnson (Gitana Winston) of Lafayette, Louisiana, Adria Robertson-Martin of Franklin and Shari Madison (Bobby) of Houston, Texas; and his siblings, Roy Haynes (Darlene) of Oklahoma City, Camille Haynes of Franklin, Louisiana, Cecille H. Gray (George) of Franklin, Louisiana and Florence H. Beverly (Morris) of Franklin, Louisiana. He is also survived by twenty eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren; along with a host of family and friends.
