She was predeceased by: her former husband Lamar Goodman; her children, Joel Goodman and Cheryl Goodman; her husband Ray Peoples; her stepchildren, Glinda Jones, Harold Peoples and Darral; and her siblings, Carrie Guthrie, Geneva Robbins, Alma Lea Peoples, Lela Faye Hawthorne and Pete Hawthorne (Vicki Peoples).
She is survived by: her brother Rev. Floyd Hawthorne (Barbara) of Winnsboro, LA; and her stepdaughters, Karon Rollins (Jerry) of Winnsboro and Beverly Wright (Dalton) of Winnsboro. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren.
