She is survived by: her children, Horatio Yelling (Kendra) of Fresno, Travis Lightfoot of Franklin, Louisiana and Coratio Yelling of Franklin, Louisiana; her siblings, Herbert Yelling (Lorraine) of Charenton, Mark Yelling (Denise) of Jeanerette, Wayne Yelling Sr. of Baldwin, Louisiana, Lillie Washington of Baker, Joyce Freeman of Franklin, Ellener Peters (Dave) of Franklin, Lakondra Hines of Lafayette and Shannon Goldsmith of Shreveport, Louisiana; and her aunt Irene Randle of Berwick, Louisiana.

A burial will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery (1341 Martin Luther King Dr, Jeanerette, LA 70544).
