She was predeceased by: her son Kevin James McDonough; and her parents, Murlin Clifton Arner and Othello Clements "Bo" Arner. She is survived by: her husband James Parham Evans III; her sons, David Berkeley McDonough of Atlanta, Georgia and Christopher Sean McDonough of Atlanta, Georgia; her granddaughter Catharine Berkeley McDonough; her great grandchild Birch Arthur McDonough of St. Louis, Missouri; and her grandson Miles Tredway McDonough (Isabelle).
