She was predeceased by: her father Charles Picard; her husband Anatole "Boze" Derouen Jr.; her son Ernest Joseph Derouen; her mother Marie Dupre Picard Olivier; her siblings, Adam J. Picard Sr., Mary Mae Mondor, Shirley Charles Picard, Milton P. Picard Sr., Willie P. Picard, Walter A. Picard Sr., Nellie P. Derouen, Irene P. Tabb, Charles A. Picard, Andrew J. Picard Sr. and Alicia "Tut" P. Milling; her sons-in-law, Calvin "Peanut" Cowart and Brian Wheeler; and her grandchildren, Brian Millet, Joseph Gilchrist, Jared Michael "Boss" Cowart and Shilah Ann Mire.
She is survived by: her children, Gloria Jean Thibodeaux (Dexter), Theresa Cowart, Louanna Wheeler, Sally Guillotte (Butch), Brenda Mire (Myron), Peggy Ronsonet (Tony), Anatole "Lil Boze" Derouen (Ann) and Cindy Estelle (Raymond); and her brother Alvin Picard. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, September 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ibert's Mortuary - Franklin (1007 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538).
