It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jacquelyn Pontiff of Franklin, Louisiana, who passed away on October 5, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jacquelyn Pontiff to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Pierre "Bob" Pontiff Jr.; and her parents, Edgar J. Scott and Mary Norma Avant Scott. She is survived by: her children, Robert P. Pontiff III (Mary), Ronald E. Pontiff (Robin), James L. "Jim" Pontiff (Ana) and Linda A. Pontiff; and her grandchildren, Elisa Gonzales, Katherine Pontiff, Christine Pontiff, Richard Schmitz, James Pontiff Jr., Becky Pontiff, Jacob Pontiff and Joseph Pontiff. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ibert's Mortuary - Franklin (1007 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Franklin Cemetery (1210 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538).
