He was predeceased by: his sons, Robert "Bobby" Keenze and John "Toody" Keenze; his children-in-law, William "Billy" Ware Jr. and J. Belinda Phillips Keenze; his parents, Rudy Keenze and Rita Keenze; and his brothers, Paul Keenze and Ronald Keenze.
He is survived by: his wife Verline Simoneaux Keenze; his children, Rita Keenze Ware (Ernie Pontiff) and William James Keenze (Gretchen); his daughter-in-law Lynn Robicheaux Keenze; his grandchildren, Lacey Keenze (Chad Deshotel), William Patrick Keenze (Shannon), William Ollie Ware III (Tristen Lancon), William James Keenze II, Ty Michael Ware (Olivia Soileau), Alyson Nicole Wells (Cody), Randi Marie Keenze (Bryan Jones), Devin Pontiff (Katie) and Alllysa Pontiff (Michael Bruno); and his great grandchildren, Brayden, Emmeline, Olivia, Nora, Ryker, Brooklyn, Liam, Snow, Haiden, Aurora, Kassidy, Briggs and Dreydan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ibert's Mortuary - Franklin (1007 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
