It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Thomas Caprito of Franklin, Louisiana, who passed away on October 9, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Caprito and Virginia Neil Caprito; and his sister Marguerite Theresa Caprito. He is survived by: his wife Carole Taliaferro Caprito; his children, Virginia "Jennie" Caprito Rader (Chris) and Joseph "Jay" Thomas Caprito II (Pam); his grandchildren, Joseph Thomas Caprito III, Matthew Bennett Caprito, Rachel Marie Caprito, Emma Catherine Caprito Rader, Caroline Taliaferro Rader and Virginia Bennett Rader; and his great grandchild Haven Rae Rosamond. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Church of the Assumption (915 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Franklin Cemetery (1210 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538).
