He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose A. Bodin and Arminer Dumesnil Bodin; his siblings, James Bodin Sr. and Janice Miguez; his brother-in-law Coral Miguez; his godson Brent Miguez; and his niece Sheila Miguez Pontiff.
He is survived by: his sisters, Judy B. Shugart and Carolyn B. Luke; his brothers-in-law, James Shugart and Gary Luke; his godchildren, Byron Luke and Celeste Deslatte; and his friends, Aldon Mayon and Sherry "Teetsie" Mayon.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Church of the Assumption (915 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538). A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Franklin Cemetery (1210 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538).
After his contributions to the education of our youth, he returned to his beloved hometown of Franklin.
