She was predeceased by: her parents, Moise Sinitiere and Ida Mary Chauvin Sinitiere; her husband Herbert Chris Ibert; her sons, Herbert Chris Ibert II and Gregory Paul Ibert; her former husband George Comer; her son-in-law Kirk P. Curry; her sisters, Mavis S. Olivier and Maxine S. Avrill; and her brothers-in-law, Lloyd "Preacher" Breaux and Richard "Dick" Avrill.
She is survived by: her daughters, Amanda "Mandy" Ibert Landry (Dale) and Meri Ibert Curry; her grandchildren, Jared Landry (Kim), Herbert Chris "Trey" Ibert, III (Mary), Blaire Landry Brown (Eric), Christina Landry Hidalgo (Hugh), Kirk Curry, Aprill Curry Payton (Mikey), Grace Ibert Denn (Preston), Chris Ibert and Daniel Ibert; her great grandchildren, Hallie, Keri, Miya, Bella, Laila, Ava, Julian, Evelyn, Ellisyn, Lillian, Ella, Abel, Baylor, Emmy, Sawyer, Elliott and Emmitt; her daughter-in-law Melissa Daniel Ibert; her siblings, Bobby S. Breaux and Moise "Bum" Sinitiere (Linda); and her brother-in-law Don Olivier. She is also survived by "Gran" to her 9 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Church of the Assumption (915 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 3:45 PM at the Franklin Cemetery (1210 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538).
