He is survived by : his wife Paula Price Stephenson; his son Joshua R. Stephenson; his mother Norma Bradfield Stephenson; his sisters, Sherry Redmond (Charles) and Jeri Leigh Stephenson; and his mother-in-law Dora Delcambre Price. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

“Paula and Josh, I was so shocked and sorry to hear that Leroy passed. Please accept my and Diane's heart felt condolences. Leroy and I had not touched bases since hurricane season. I had no idea. We sure had some good times back in the day in Illinois, and he and Josh drove up to see and stay with me in Chicago years ago. We went to the Sears Tower and Museums. He was a good friend and hard working man. I will miss him a lot and think of him often. Thinking of you and Josh. Love, Andy and Diane”
