She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry F. "Bub" Bayard, Jr. and Beverly Danjean Bayard; her siblings-in-law, Helmuth and Olga Veitinger; her grandparents, Eddie, Maddie Robicheaux Danjean, Henry F. and Eloise Bodin Bayard; her cousin Jody Boudreaux; and her stepfather Laurence P. Goula.
She is survived by : her husband Robert "Bob" Veitinger; her son Scott Christopher Veitinger; her granddaughters, Kayla and Sarah Veitinger; her sister Susan Bayard Gaines (Greg); her nephews, Benjamin Bayard Gaines and Maddie; her cousins, Patty Lou Hidalgo, Emily Guillotte, Karen Fowler, Suzanne Chauvin and Brenda Donald; and her caregivers, Danielle LaGrange, Tasha Robicheaux, Emily Hanagriff, Emily Fontenot and Stephanie Lyons. She is also survived by five "sister".
