We announce the death of Robert Edwin Lauret of Franklin, Louisiana, born in Natchitoches, Louisiana, who passed away on September 19, 2026, at the age of 77. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his wife Deborah Landrum "Debi" Lauret; his parents, Edwin James Lauret and Florence Mary Leitz Lauret; and his in-laws, Hubert Landrum and Carrie Linney Landrum.

He is survived by: his children, Brian Lauret and Jennifer Lauret Doiron (Wesley); his grandchildren, Lacey Lauret, Laney Lauret, Wesley Dorion Jr. and Carrie Doiron; his great grandchild Myra Doiron; and his sister Jacqueline Lauret Sutton. He is also survived by three nephews, his in-laws, extended family, and friends.
