She is survived by: her husband Tommy Ducote; her son Richard Andrew "Ricky" Carter Jr. (Marni Schnapper); her brother Dale; her siblings-in-law, Sue Robicheaux, Carolyn Robicheaux, Roxanne Lange (Mark), Anne James, Anita Weber, Liz Rivette, Karen Poirier and Joey Lucia; and her pet Sweet Pea. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
