The memory of Shelby McLain Goulas of Franklin, Louisiana, who passed away on July 6, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parent Doylie McLain; her husband Robert Joseph "Bobby" Goulas; her son Bobby Goulas; her grandson Jason Leonard; her great grandchild Jackson Goulas; her mother Zelma Gray McLain; and her siblings, Bonnie Migues, Annie Boudreaux and Emcee McLain.

She is survived by: her children, Jeff Goulas (Donna), Scott Goulas (Lisa), Joni Goulas Markerson and Kelly Goulas Jones (Mike); her grandchildren, Christina Perron, Matthew Goulas (Kate), Andrew Goulas (Amber Berzas), Katie Howard (Sam), Lauren Jones, Megan Jones, Hailey Goulas, Cailey Goulas (Matt Laurent), Ashley Goulas and Nick Hudson (Lexie); her great grandchildren, Eli, Miller Goulas, Harper Goulas, Charlotte, Gideon, Benjamin Howard, Nathan Jones, Anastasia Hudson and Nicholas Hudson Jr.; her siblings, Johnny McLain (Betty), Robert McLain (Dagmar), Susan Little and Jimmy McLain (Doris); and her friends, Marian Pusateri and Prissy Alex. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:30 PM at the Ibert's Mortuary - Franklin (1007 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538). A rosary was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 3:45 PM at the Franklin Cemetery (1210 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538).
