He is survived by: his sons, Lindsay Mensman and Chad Mensman (Melisa); his grandsons, Chase Mensman and Trey Frost; his significant other Jean Martin; his daughter Stephanie Mensman; his grandchildren, Karli M. Collins (Bryant), Jacob Mensman (Addie), Seth Mensman (Earolyn), Joshua Frost (Xani Brown) and Ella Frost; his great grandchildren, Levi, Adalyn, Emery and Wyatt; his brothers, Michael Mensman, Scott Mensman and Tim Mensman; and his caregivers, Tai Soprano and Glenn Delcambre.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:45 PM at the Church of the Assumption (915 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 at 1:45 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Perpetual Park Cemetery (1450 Sterling Rd, Franklin, LA 70538).
