We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2025, at the age of 91, Thomas Dantin (Franklin, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Thomas departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Thomas may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Thomas leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Alcide Dantin Sr. and Julia Romaire Dantin; and his siblings, Wilson "Whip" Dantin Sr., Wallace "Jake" Dantin Jr., Charles W. Dantin, Marian D. LeBlanc and Alice D. Clark.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Jacqueline "Jackie" Dantin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Church of the Assumption (915 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Franklin Cemetery (1210 Main St, Franklin, LA 70538).
