He is survived by: his wife Debbie Lott Corkern; his children, Misty Corkern, Mike Corkern II (Bonnie) and Dusty Thomas (Alyssa); and his grandchildren, Natalie, Jeffery Corkern, Lexon and Laiken Thomas. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations be made to Bethel Baptist Church.
