She is survived by: her cousin Linda Hines Lindsey; her children, Ife Lindsey Royal (Wardell), Lesley Christophe (Aaron), Takashima Robinson and Karomie Pigott; her grandchildren, Wardell Royal III (Kasi), Emmani Royal, Caleb Royal, Joshua Royal and Niyi Royal; and her aunt Betty Hines.
