Matthew Tate Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew Tate of Franklinton, Louisiana, who passed away on September 2, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Matthew departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Matthew. Though Matthew may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Crain and Sons Funeral Home (2000 Washington St, Franklinton, LA 70438). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the The R. W. Johnson Auditorium (610 T W Barker Dr, Franklinton, LA 70438).
