She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Kennedy and Ella Mae Kennedy; and her brothers, Marvin Kennedy and Ellis Francis. She is survived by: her sons, Erik (Shonette) of Bogalusa, Louisiana, Damion Miller of Bogalusa, Louisiana and Christopher Miller of Bogalusa, Louisiana; her siblings, Melner Lampkin (Anthony) of Bloomington, CA, Beverly McDonald of Calument City, ILL, Quiney Hughes of New Orleans, LA, Jermaine Francis (Kerrisha) of Fredericksburg, VA and Charley Francis of Fredericksburg, VA; her grandchildren, Christopher Miller Jr., Heaven Miller, Maya Jefferson, Kayleigh Morgan and Kingston Green; her aunts, Lula Hart of Independence, LA, Betty Johnson and Joyce Joiner; her siblings' children, Laneka Lewis, Davia Black of Bloomington, CA, Jermaine and Jermiah Francis; and her close friends, Jackson, Rose, Ken Magee, Gregory Span, Julius Quillen, Leatha Williams, Sandra Lewis and Dora.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Cook-Richmond & Sons Funeral Home (638 N Columbia St, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the God Church (814 Union Ave, Bogalusa, LA 70427).
