We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2025, at the age of 78, Sylvia Ann Drake in Franklinton, Louisiana, born in Bogalusa, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Sylvia Ann farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Sylvia Ann is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Ridgdell and Wilda Mooney Ridgdell; and her son Philip Joseph "Buddy" Cedotal. She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis Warren; and her granddaughter McKenna Cooper.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (541 Ave F, Bogalusa, LA 70427). A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
