She was predeceased by: her great grandchild Richard Baker. She is survived by: her husband Jimmie Kagler; her children, Vickie Lajoice Thomas, Victoria Denise Kagler and Jimnell Toni Kagler; her grandchildren, Vontrelle Lillian Kagler, Jerica Laura Baker, Raynard Thomas, Jr., Jimmy Ray Kagler, Jacob Samuel Carter, Richard Baker, Jamariyah Shantell Baker, Nevaeh Vernell Watkins, Ronald William Carter, Victor Ali Carter and Kyle Joseph Carter; and her godchildren, Barbara Kagler, Brenda Kagler, Jerome Learson, Jr. and Danisha Cheatham. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mt. Kingdom Baptist Church (3756 Louisa St, New Orleans, LA 70126). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 7th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the New Jerusalem Baptist Church (44030 Max Brumfield Rd, Franklinton, LA 70438).
