He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Ann Miles Carter; his parents, Eloise Carter and Milton Carter; and his brothers, Aubrey Carter and Dean Carter.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Carter (Angel), Anita Veuleman (Danny) and Adam Carter (Sheri); his brother Prentis Carter (Joyce); his sister-in-law Penny Miles Lobdell (Robert); and his grandchildren, Ray Carter, Austin Carter, Joshua Veuleman, Jacob Veuleman, Allie Shelton and Carson Carter. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and nephews.
