Barbara leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Barbara’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Barbara will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her husband Steve J. Eymard; her granddaughter Laura Eggart; and her parents, Morris Duet and Lorenza Adams Duet. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Eymard Eggart and Ken Eymard (Tish); her grandchildren, Bailey Eymard (Kiley) and Amryn Eymard (Evan); her great grandchild Molly Kate Eymard; and her brother Raligh Duet (Rose Marie).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church (1109 Cypress St, Sulphur, LA 70663). A Mass was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Cheramie Cemetery East Main.
