We are sad to announce that on June 24, 2025, at the age of 85, Vernon Joseph Ledet (Galliano, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Lee Ledet; his parents, Columbus Ledet and Garnet Werhan; and his stepson Mark Callais Sr.. He is survived by: his daughter Adrienne Terrebonne (Cy); his stepsons, Timmy Callais Sr. (Melissa) and Mike Callais Sr. (Rachel); his stepdaughter-in-law Joyce Callais; his sister Diane VanVoorhis (Bob); his grandchildren, Erica Callais, Timmy Callais Jr., Jada Bourg, Ashley Callais, Katie Callais, Jenna Callais, Mark Callais Jr., Catarina Lacoste, Michaela Callais, Michael Callais Jr., Halle Terrebonne and Ryan Terrebonne; and his pet Lady.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the South Lafourche Church of the Resurrection (18803 E Main St, Galliano, LA 70354). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cheramie Cemetery.
