It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wesley Paul Sanamo of Galliano, Louisiana, born in Golden Meadow, Louisiana, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John, Sr. Sanamo and Bernadette Sanamo; his former wife Sandra Plaisance Sanamo; and his siblings, John, Jerry Sanamo, Marie S. Dupont, Glorita S. Terrebonne and Dolores S. Danos.
He is survived by: his wife Glenda Guidry Sanamo; his sons, Jeremy Sanamo (Reuben) and Scott Sanamo (Celeste); his grandchildren, Konner, Kylie, Elizabeth and Luke Sanamo; his sister Rose S. Gautreaux; and his goddaughter Lisa G. Plaisance. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Falgout Funeral Home (17330 W Main St, Cut Off, LA 70345). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. Joseph Cemetery (17980 W Main St, Galliano, LA 70354). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the same location.
