He was predeceased by: his mother Martha Rose Whitman Carpenter; his sister Leisa Brown; and his grandson Brooks Barnette. He is survived by: his father Gardner Leigh Carpenter (Sharon); his children, Christian Barnette (Blake), Caitlin Carpenter (Thomas Horan), Caley Williams (James) and William McClellan (Kayla); his sister Rhonda Howard (Neil); and his grandchildren, Grayson Williams, Elena Barnette, Sophie Barnette and Karleigh Barnette. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Glenwood Funeral Home (145 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
