With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Edwin Wright Sr. of Geismar, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 11, 2026 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint James Edwin leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Jacobsen Wright; his parents, James Edward Wright and Edith "Bernice" Grube Wright; his son James "Edwin" Wright, Jr.; and his sister Dorothy "Waneen" Woods.
He is survived by: his daughter Jeanine Wright; and his grandson Chandler Wright.
