He was predeceased by: his parents, Verlon Lee Wright and Alice Bernice Sanders; his daughter Susanne Ryan; and his brothers, John Wright and Doc Wright.

He is survived by: his wife Cathy Wright; his son Greg Wright (Danelle); his grandchildren, Elivia Ryan, McKenzie and Hunter Wright; and his great grandchildren, Lettie, Nova Doyle and Stetson Ryan.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Georgetown Baptist Church (4465 LA-500, Georgetown, LA 71432). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
