She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Parker Brown and Bertha Rollins Brown; her husband Willie W. Gaither; her siblings, Theodore P. Brown Jr., Mary Louise B. Lewis and Irma B. Volter; her grandparents, Jordan, Louise Rollins, Gabriel and Lucy Brown; and her parents-in-law, Cleveland Gaither and Eva Gaither.
She is survived by: her siblings, Louella B. Ray of Gibson, LA and Donald Brown (Norma) of Corona, CA; her sister-in-law Rose Brown of Gibson, LA; and her godchildren, Dana Watkins, Krystal Ray, Akhari Rainey and Lydia Muse. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at the Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church (4928 N Bayou Black Dr, Gibson, LA 70356).
