As John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Roberts Wheeler and Lafon Jones Wheeler; and his brother William "Billy" Wheeler. He is survived by: his wife Angelica Binalla Wheeler; his daughter Jewell Mary B. Wheeler; his brother Herbert "Buddy" Wheeler (Lorie); his nieces and nephews, Sean Wheeler, Matthew Flowers-Wheeler, Heather DeCarlo and Stephanie Flowers-Wheeler; and his sister-in-law Sharon Kay Flowers-Wheeler.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the West Park (4511 W Park Ave, Gray, LA 70359). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
