With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Vick of Gilbert, Louisiana, born in Tallulah, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 2, 2025 at the age of 94. She was predeceased by: her husband A. J. Vick; and her sibling's children, Fannie Jean Fortenberry, James Rashel and Barbara Lee. She is survived by: her niece Vickie Williams (Carl) of Winnsboro, LA; her great-niece Crystal Ulmer (Tommy) of Crowville, LA; her great-nephew Trey Williams (Jessica) of Winnsboro, LA; her nephew Alvie Vick of Gilbert, LA; her great-nephew Ethan (Julia); and her grandchildren, Abigale, Carly, Carl, Mallory Jean and Case. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to Gilbert First Baptist Church.
