He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Eugene and Mary Kimball Kenney; and his siblings, Amos Kenney, Tillman "Hoss" Kenney, Henry "Tomboy" Kenney, Sonny Kenney, Chester Kenney, Bernice Gillespie, Louella Boothe, Lillie Roberts, Ruth Stephens and Margie Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Warbington Kenney; his children, Kim Phillips (Charles) of Sicily Island, Art Kenney (Saige) of Liddieville and Clay Kenney (Katie) of Gilbert; his grandchildren, Whitney Lively (Tyler), Briar Gallup (Allie), Brooke Kenney, Kaylee Haring (Dustin), Hunter Kenney, Aubree Kenney, Spencer Kenney and Tyler Rose Kenney; and his great grandchildren, Baya Lively, Tyde William and Keaton Gallup. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 4th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Apostolic Faith Chapel (309 Old Hwy 15, Gilbert, LA 71336). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
