He was predeceased by: his parents, Purvis Glass and Estelle Glass; his wife Joyce Glass; and his siblings, Jesse, William, Betty Jane and Ernestine.
He is survived by: his daughter Wendi Glass Covey (Thurman Jr) of Gilliam; his granddaughters, Baleigh and Kylie Covey; his siblings, Ida Bell, Sammy, John David, Ruby Lee and Odell; and his close friends, Marilyn and Ricky Adcock. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
